The "Vrindavan" fruit processing cooperative of the participants at Vansda in Navsari district, has procured 450 tons of mangoes for sale of fresh fruits as well as for processing into pickles, pulp and dehydrated slices, procurement and processing of cashewnuts was also accelerated.

BAIF has promoted a multi state marketing company -Vasundhara Agri-Horti Producer Company Limited (VAPCOL) under Section 581A of the Indian Companies Act I9S6, to market the products across the country. This company is establishing a linkage between Farmers' Cooperatives and bulk consumers and exporters for marketing the produce in large volumes.

To establish a direct link between the tribal producers and consumers, marketing of superior quality Kesar variety of mangoes grown by tribals in South Gujarat was launched in Pune through retail outlets and in collaboration with corporate houses.

The concept of promoting direct sale of commodities produced by enterprising self help groups was realised through the launch of the outlets "Vrindavan" in Pune and "Gramasiri" in Tiptur displaying processed food products, tribal handicrafts, silk and other fabrics. These products arc being sold through the outlets of TRIFED in Delhi and New Mumbai.
 
Various Best Practices have been evolved for improving the productivity.
