Shrinivas Kulkarni is Group Vice President – Finance at BAIF Development Research Foundation, one of India’s foremost organizations in sustainable rural development and innovation. He provides strategic and financial leadership across BAIF’s national portfolio, ensuring sound governance, transparency, and long-term institutional resilience.

With more than two decades of experience in finance, organizational systems, and development management, Shrinivas oversees BAIF’s financial architecture, compliance, and strategic resource planning. His leadership integrates financial prudence with developmental purpose, enabling the Foundation to effectively channel resources toward impactful, community-based initiatives.

As an Acumen Fellow, he brings a global perspective on ethical and inclusive leadership to BAIF’s mission. He has been instrumental in strengthening financial governance frameworks, advancing innovation and incubation systems, and shaping partnerships with governments, CSR entities, and multilateral agencies.

At COP30, he will represent BAIF and India’s broader commitment to sustainable and equitable growth and aim at convergence of sound finance, with innovation, and institutional integrity with lasting impact on rural communities.
